I came across this profile the other day, and didnt really read what they were up to..
It wasn’t until Lauren and Nina of the Moaning Myrtles posted a bulletin explaining this, that i realized what was going on.
“Anyone can be part of the Socks for Dumbledore Project. All you have to do is knit (or crochet, embroider, sew, etc!)something (socks, scarves, hats, sweaters, bags, blankets, etc) in a Potter-related color scheme and donate it to your local Salvation Army store, Goodwill, or any other charity of your choice. Mrs. Weasley knits sweaters, Hermione knits hats for the liberation of house-elves, and Dumbledore’s deepest desire is to have a great pair of socks. Help spread the HP love by knitting items for the less fortunate today. Fight evil. Knit socks.”
